Stud Focus

Each year we strive to offer our customers, sires that promote trouble-free calving and heavier, finished progeny before their second winter. We have a strong focus on accurate data collection and analysis and are pleased to see our herd EBV’S following our breeding objectives.
And if its fizzy or structurally won’t go the distance, it’s gone!!.

Background

Started in 1985 with the purchase of an in calf heifer from David Carters Avon Park Stud. Continued to pick the eyes out of dispersals and other female offerings. No grading up was done. Inaugural on- farm bull sale was held in 1991. Cow numbers rose to 120 but have now settled around 90.
